President's Message

What an inspiring meeting we shared this week! One of the highlights was celebrating 10 outstanding students from Chapel Hill State School as they received their Rotary Junior Community Awards. These young achievers have demonstrated remarkable dedication to community service, showcasing the kind of leadership and compassion we value in Rotary. It was a privilege to recognize their efforts and encourage their bright futures.
Another proud moment was inducting Kelsey Giarola as a Paul Harris Fellow. Kelsey’s passion for sharing the joy of music truly struck a chord with us all. Her work reminds us how music can unite and inspire, and it was an honour to acknowledge her meaningful contributions to the community.
Thank you to all members who have volunteered their time to sell tickets for our Cash for Christmas Raffle. We’re halfway through the selling period, and your efforts are making a real difference. Keep up the fantastic work as we push toward a strong finish. Every ticket sold directly supports the projects and initiatives we champion together.
Lastly, a friendly reminder to register for our Kenmore Rotary Christmas Party on Saturday 7 December. This year’s celebration promises to be a night of great food, fun, and fellowship as we reflect on a wonderful 6 months of service. Don’t miss this opportunity to celebrate the festive season with your fellow Rotarians.
Thank you for your continued dedication to making our community and the world a better place. Together, we are truly achieving great things.
Yours in service,

Dave Patmore
President
