message from our President
Welcome to our website in this our 40th year.
Our Club meets every Wednesday for a dinner meeting at Boulevard
Gardens, Indooroopilly at 6:30pm. Visiting Rotarians and
guests are most welcome.
Rotary is a worldwide organisation of more than 1.2 million
business, professional, and community leaders. There are
over 32,000 Rotary Clubs in more than 200 countries around
the world. Clubs are grouped into 530 districts. As signified
by the motto "Service above Self", Rotary's main
objective is Service
“in
the community, in the workplace, and throughout the world".

Rotary International President for 2008-2009 is Dong Kurn
Lee of the Republic of Korea. D.K. Lee has asked us to focus
on the most precious resource of every community, our children.
The emphasis will be on “water, health and hunger and
literacy across the international community". The challenge
for all of us is to "Make Dreams Real" for the world's
children.
The Club provides a wide range
of activities both locally and also internationally. The
core areas of activity for the Club cover Community, Vocation,
International, and Youth. There is an opportunity for everyone.
