Contents of MEMBERS FILES

AllMembersList.csv - A comma separated value file of all members suitable for creating a spreadsheet short form list. Contains the preferred email address, partner first name, home address and phone numbers.

members.rtf - A rich text file (rtf) containing most details of all current members. Many applications can read rtf, the most common being Open Office and Microsoft Word.

TBird.csv - A comma separated value file of preferred email addresses suitable for importing into Mozilla Thunderbird. The Organization field contains Kenmore Rotary which facilitates removing and adding Kenmore Rotarians.

OutlookExpress.csv - A comma separated value file of preferred email addresses suitable for importing into older versions of Microsoft Outlook Express such as those running on Windows 98. There is a unique Name field loaded with Kenmore Rotary + ID which facilitates removing and adding Kenmore Rotarians.

Outlook.csv - A comma separated value file of preferred email addresses suitable for importing into Microsoft Outlook and later versions of Outlook Express such as Windows XP. The Company field contains Kenmore Rotary which facilitates removing and adding Kenmore Rotarians.

Readme.txt - A help file containing instructions to import into Outlook Express, Outlook and Thunderbird address books.

Step by Step Instructions to Import the csv file into Outlook or newer versions of Outlook Express.

1. Place the Outlook.csv file in a known directory ready for importing.
2. Open Microsoft Outlook.
3. Create a subdirectory under Contacts called "Rotary".
4. Click File then Import & Export then Import from another program or file.
5. Select Comma Separated Values (Windows) then Next.
6. Browse for the Outlook.csv file as per step 1.
7. Select Destination Folder i.e Contacts->Rotary as per step 3.
8. Open "Map Custom Fields" and ensure that the values on the left are mapped to the fields on the right
     by dragging and dropping with the mouse. You may need to open the Fields with a + to ensure that the
     subfields match up.
9. Click OK and Finish.

Microsoft Internet Explorer Configuration for the Web Calendar

Note: If you are using Microsoft Internet Explorer then you temporarily need to enable Third Party Cookies otherwise you will not get through the login.

1. To enable Third Party Cookies in Internet Explorer go to the toolbar select Tools, then Internet Options then select the Privacy Tab. Select Advanced then select prompt for Third Party Cookies
.

2. You should add http://www.rotarykenmore.org as a trusted site via the Security tab or add the site through the Privacy tab sites to always allow cookies. Once this is done and you have logged in, the Third Party Cookies option can then be set back to the default setting.
